Emma is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario, currently studying Popular Music at Western University. Blending R&B and pop with a soulful vocal style influenced by artists such as Tori Kelly and Adele, her music is rooted in personal storytelling drawn from real-life experiences with relationships, self-discovery, personal growth, and grief. A former member of the JUNO-nominated group Girl Pow-R, Emerald has completed two U.S. tours and performed at Playlist Live in Orlando, Florida. She has also established a strong live performance presence, singing the national anthem at events for the Hamilton Bulldogs, Brantford Bulldogs, Forge FC, Hamilton Cardinals, as well as Western University sports and Homecoming games. Emerald is currently focused on her solo career, working in the studio to record and release new music as she continues to develop her sound and establish herself as a rising voice in Canada’s R&B/pop scene.
