Engineering students Riley Cerovcec and Rory Osborne formed KRUSH during their time at Western. The band quickly built a strong following in their final years, playing iconic London venues like Joe Kool’s, Richmond Tavern, El Furniture Warehouse, and countless unforgettable backyard parties. They also performed the halftime show at the Engineering vs. Ivey basketball game on the Alumni Hall stage and took home first prize at the Spoke’s Battle of the Bands. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Riley this past summer. In his honour, the remaining members of KRUSH are hosting a memorial concert at London Music Hall. All proceeds will be donated to the Kidney Foundation, a cause chosen by the Cerovcec family. You can purchase tickets here.
