A poetic and emotionally candid singer/songwriter, Ryan Naismith, has penned countless songs that keep the listener captivated through the evolution of story through song. Ryan began writing poems as a pastime in his adolescence as a creative outlet for his own thoughts, observations and experiences. It was not until recent years, that he self-taught guitar and began writing his own lyrics. Very quickly Ryan amassed a large song catalogue to share with those around him. Ryan’s musical influences span from Outlaw Country to Folk/Americana and back to Blues and Rock. Ryan enjoys writing and performing for those who listen with intention. In the tradition of Neil Young, Steve Earle, Jason Isbell among other troubadours that Ryan greatly admires, he strives to bring the listener on a journey through the song, with the truth being found in the eye of the beholder.
