The Aeolian is pleased to announce a special concert, this Sunday, March 8th for International Women’s Day. The concert will take place in the The Aeolian’s Southen Lounge.

The concert will feature five musicians performing 30-minute solo sets between 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Performers include Tara Dunphy (The Rizdales & Maggie’s Wake), love_theperson (a.k.a. Fiker), Michelle Munroe Reid (originally from London, now based in Guelph), Tean Dream (a.k.a. Tina Powell) and Allison Brown (Southwestern Ontario songstress).

The Southen Lounge is located on the main floor of Aeolian Hall, 795 Dundas Street (Dundas & Rectory). Entrance will be through the Box Office door on Rectory. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. Admission is free. Donations to the London Abused Women’s Centre will be appreciated. The Aeolian bar will be selling snacks, plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

International Women’s Day at The Aeolian is supported with thanks to The Paul Seed Fund through the London Community Foundation and is a London UNESCO City of Music project.
