10 Year Anniversary Concert of Share The Land

Fanshawe's prestigious MIA program celebrates the 10th anniversary of the annual "Share the Land" concert at 7pm on April 24th 2021, to raise funds for "Revive Live" program.

Fanshawe's Music Industry Arts program is pleased to present the 10th Anniversary of the annual "Share the Land" fundraising concert. This concert was originally created to honour and pay tribute to the legacy of past Fanshawe teacher, legendary producer Jack Richardson, and his meaningful contributions, putting Canada on the music industry map.

This year's concert will be supporting the "Revive Live” program, benefiting local artists, music venues, crew members and many others involved in the music industry who have suffered tremendous losses due to Covid lockdowns.

The concert is completely student-run, under the supervision of award-winning songwriter, professor Mike Roth, with the support of Juno award-winning, Grammy-nominated program coordinator Dan Brodbeck.

Featuring performances by MIA students and special guest appearances from music industry professionals, and impressive MIA grads, including recent winner of the Polaris Music Award Haviah Mighty; Devon Portielje from Half Moon Run; and Tokyo Spears from Walk off the Earth, among many others.

This year's concert is particularly special, celebrating the 10th anniversary since implementing the fundraising concert idea. This is the first year that it will be done entirely online due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, but has been made possible in collaboration with Fanshawe’s Broadcasting and APP program, and promises to be a night of incredible entertainment!
