Artist Call Out for City of Music Concerts

The London Music Office (LMO) invites local and regional musicians to apply for the 2026 City of Music Concerts. This free to the public outdoor series celebrates diverse musical voices and showcases the vibrant music culture of London, Canada’s UNESCO City of Music.

This is a paid opportunity.

About the Series

Held Thursday evenings from June through August, the City of Music Concerts feature live performances in a lively, pedestrian-friendly downtown setting on Dundas Place in Market Lane. Performances run from 7:00–10:00 PM and are free and open to the public.

Who Can Apply

The City of Music Concerts are open to solo artists, duos, and bands across all musical genres.

Applicants must:

  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Majority of members must be based in London, Ontario or the surrounding region
  • Play over 80% of original music
  • Must be able to perform a minimum 30-minute set
  • Have an artist profile on the LMO website

We encourage applications from artists who reflect the diversity of London’s music community, including artists from equity-deserving groups, Indigenous artists and artists working in a wide range of musical styles.

The London Music Office maintains an online artist directory that helps promote local musicians and connects them with presenters, festivals and industry opportunities. All submitting artists MUST have an artist profile on the LMO website. If you do not have a current profile, or need to update an outdated one, please submit one here.

Submission & Selection

Submissions are made through an online google form here.
Selected artists will be contacted by email. Submission does not guarantee placement. Priority may be given to artists based in London and surrounding regions, as well as those who reflect strong artistic merit and alignment with each event. Artist selection and booking decisions are made at the discretion of the London Music Office and select promoter(s) of the City of Music Concerts.

Submissions close on February 22, 26 at 11:59 PM.
