Music On Hold 2024

When you call The City of London, you will be able to enjoy more music from local London artists when placed on hold.

The London Music Office is back with the second edition of the program that brings local music to the City of London's phone system. When a caller is placed on hold, they will hear a playlist of original music written and recorded by London based musicians and artists.

The Music on Hold program helps local musicians reach a broader audience while offering residents an enhanced listening experiencing when calling the City of London. While residents will hear new music while on hold, there is no change to the configuration of the phone system or change to the transfer of calls.

Phone systems are limited in their sonic capabilities and songs have been chosen based on these restrictions.  Participating artist are compensated with a licensing fee for use of their song. The LABS at LPL's Central Branch was used to record most artists introductions.

Complete list of featured artists and songs includes:

Amanda Movio - Why's That?
Bella Rosa - She's Good For You
Brent Jackson - Got to Be Bad
Eleanor - Make Sense
Elli - Love Me
Kristen Renée - Winnin'
Lindsey from Lindsey & The Lonelies - The One
Charlie Weber - I Will Better Than This
Adam from Status/Non-Status - Find a Home
Tina Powell - Radio
