Music Talks goes digital with Women in Music Canada's Samantha Slattery.
Samantha Slattery (Sam) has been working in the music industry throughout North America and the UK for almost two decades. Her career has focused primarily on live music and festivals, specializing in legal and risk management matters. She’s also the founder of Women in Music Canada, a non-profit organization focused on gender balance in the Canadian music industry. Additionally, Sam worked at Nettwerk Management’s UK office, working for major-label multi-platinum artists. Along with her experience she also has a 2:1 Honors Degree, completed UCLA’s music business program, and currently completing her law degree. Sam is highly engaged in the industry, most notably speaking at SXSW and featuring in Forbes magazine and is a current RBC Women of Influence nominee.
