Music Talks with Alka Sharma of Folk Music Ontario
Music Talks goes digital with Folk Music Ontario.
Join us Friday May 22nd as we welcome Alka Sharma from Folk Music Ontario (FMO). Alka joined Folk Music Ontario as the Executive Director in 2013. Prior to that, she worked as the Interim Executive Director at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival and spent many years as the Senior Manager of Operations with the Toronto International Film Festival. Alka has also worked at CBC Radio as the Associate Producer for Outfront and in campus/community radio in Ottawa, Guelph and Toronto. She completed her BA at Carleton University specializing in History and Political Science.
After direction from healthcare professionals and government officials, the annual FMO conference cancelled their in person conference. Join us Friday May 22nd at 11am on London Music Office Instagram Live to learn about how FMO is moving forward.
