UNESCO Cities of Music 2024 Annual Meeting After Story

London played host to the UNESCO Cities of Music Network in February 2024. Member cities travelled from all corners of the globe to connect, learn and discover sustainable development practices from global partners. UNESCO Cities of Music promote and stimulate culture and creativity driven policies, strategies, plans and initiatives at the city level. Each year, UNESCO Cities of Music gather to work on collaborative projects, share best practices and work to advance their communities through a lens of music.

Thirty-one (31) UNESCO Creative Cities participated during the annual meeting in London spurring the employment of sixty-eight (68) creative professionals across fourteen (14) venues. Forty-three (43) partners helped make this week unforgettable. Throughout the meetings, ten (10) of the seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals were actively supported.

A big thank you to Tourism London and the Canadian Commission for UNESCO for their unwavering support and contribution.
