Preparing To Reopen

While business has been put on hold across Canada, and much of the world, we are finally beginning to see things opening up again. The post COVID-19 world will look very different and the effects of the pandemic will likely linger. During this time, it's important to understand how you should be preparing for an eventual reopening of our economy.
The Event Safety Alliance Canada is dedicated to promoting “life safety first” throughout all phases of event production and execution. ESA’s mission is to help event professionals and our guests be empowered, safe and aware of reasonably foreseeable risks around them. ESA works to achieve our mission through Education, Skills training, and Advocacy. Their goal is to put Life Safety at the cultural heart of our industry. Today, ESA released The Event Safety Alliance Reopening Guide for event professionals during the CODIV-19 pandemic. This detailed document was the contribution of 300+ individuals with incredible industry insight collectively pooling their knowledge and outlining "forseeable health risks and suggested options to mitigiate them."
