Ontario Reopening Phase One

The government of Ontario has introduced a three phase plan to re-open the provincial economy. While Ontarians are enjoying the 'unofficial' kick-off to summer, many businesses are working hard prepping for re-open on Tuesday May 19th. Ontario has opted, like many other parts of Canada, to begin our re-opening approach in gradual stages. A number of industry services and retail will be first to open their doors. An allowance of specific media operations will see the first parts of the music sector opening after a two month hiatus. Music Recording, including production, distribution, publishing and studios are premitted as outlined at Ontario.ca. This marks an exciting step forward to recovery.

Those working in recording businesses are urged to operate safely by practicing physical distancing  in accordance with Middlesex London Health Unit regulations. MLHU has put together this information video with words from London Mayor Ed Holder regarding Phase 1 of re-opening plans.
