Pizza and Publishing is an opportunity to bring together local songwriters, publishers, musicians, and industry professionals to explore the world of music publishing. With an update on the changes taking place in the world of music publishing, topics covered will include the history and evolution of copyright in Canada and where it looks to be heading. The impact that FAANG (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google) is having on the industry and the policy changes that are being made in response. Following this update, stick around for an artist interview with a musician and a music publisher.
