Share the Land 2022 Tickets Available Now

Fanshawe College's presitgious Music Industry Arts program will be putting on the 11th annual Share the Land concert at The London Music Hall on March 15th, 2022 at 7:00pm. This event will be held live again after last year's Share the Land concert was streamed online due to the pandemic. Share the Land is run and organized by MIA students, with supervision and guidance from their professors. Student artists will perform their own unique takes on a number of classic Canadian songs throughout the evening. The event honours Canadian music and pays homage to the late Jack Richardson, a Juno Award Winner and former Fanshawe MIA professor. Often called the “Godfather of the Canadian Music Industry,”  Richardson was instrumental in making it possible for Canadian artists to pursue their dreams of creating music as their livelihood.

In keeping with the name of the show, this year's Share the Land is taking steps to honour the indigenous people whose traditional land the students will make this music upon.  All proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise will be donated to Atlohsa’s Zhaawanong Women's Shelter. In addition, Share the Land is also working with Fanshawe’s Institute of Indigenous Learning to help raise funds for indigenous students in need through the crowdfunding platform, FanshaweFunder. You can donate to this cause through their website.

Doors will open at 6:00pm on March 15th with the show starting at 7:00pm. With the assistance and coordination of Fanshawe’s Broadcast Television and Audio Post Production programs, the concert will also be recorded and streamed online on April 1st, 2022. To buy tickets and learn more, click HERE.
