Applications Open for Global Music Export (GEM) Program

CMI and MMF Canada are thrilled to announce the return of the Global Music Export (GEM) Program for artists managers.

Built in partnership with the Music Managers Forum (MMF) Canada, this mentorship and networking program supports Canadian artist managers representing export-ready artists currently, or soon to be, doing business internationally.

The five-day program runs from Monday, November 9th – Friday, November 13th, 2026 in London, Ontario, Canada’s UNESCO City of Music. 

The GEM experience includes: 

  • Developing and shaping export strategies through market intelligence from local experts
  • Initiating business-to-business relationships internationally and domestically
  • Meeting and networking with domestic industry guests and delegates from key international markets
  • Receiving mentorship through full group, small group, and 1-on-1 activities
  • Connecting with music managers from across Canada
  • Accessing ongoing mentorship from CMI to support international development post-program

Program Details:

  • Dates: Monday, November 9th – Friday, November 13th, 2026 
  • Location: London, Ontario
  • Application Deadline: August 30, 2026
  • Cost: FREE (program fee, travel, accommodations are fully covered and a per-diem will be provided to invited managers)
