BIOGRAPHY With the release of her debut EP, “Bittersweet Remedy”, Leanne Mayer has announced herself as a unique and exciting new voice in London, Ontario’s indie music scene. The record features her whimsical blend of jazz, blues, old school country and pop folk. Her raw, honest lyrics and soulful voice tell stories of loss and hope, coloured by just the right amount of world-weary wisdom and determination. In fact, Leanne won a prestigious Forest City London Music Award for Contemporary Singer/Songwriter in 2019, and was nominated in 2020 for “Fan Favourite”. Her music has been featured nationally on CBC radio and is developing a dedicated following at her live shows. She was a featured artist at London’s Home County Music & Art Festival in 2019, and opened for Cat Clyde on her North American Hunter’s Trance Tour. After releasing two live-off-the floor singles in 2020, Leanne is currently working on her much anticipated full-length album with projected release in 2022.
