Misha Bower

Misha is a musician, writer and educational aide based in London, Ontario. A co-founder of Toronto-based band Bruce Peninsula and an accomplished vocal guest with Daniel Romano, The Weather Station, City and Colour, Timber Timbre and Snowblink, Misha emerged as a singer-songwriter in May 2019 with her debut album, Trying to Have it All. Misha’s last solo effort was a collection of short stories titled Music for Uninvited Guests (Cringles, 2012). On Trying to Have it All, she tells new stories in song, each track delineating a character in a crucial moment of disclosure. As a soloist and collaborator, Misha has contributed music to television (Kim's Convenience, Ontario Tourism's 2016 Where Am I? campaign) and feature film soundtracks (Small Town Murder Songs, Sleeping Giant and Body & Bones). Misha continues to perform at a range of artistic events, known for her vocal talent and captivating live performance as both a vocalist and storyteller.
