Tyler Jafelice is a singer-songwriter based in London, Ontario. His music is a carefully crafted blend of indie and folk with more off-kilter genres like math rock and midwest emo. It’s the uniqueness of his sound and captivating live performance that has allowed him to open for large acts across genres like Intervals, The Happy Fits, and Joan of Arc. Lyrically, Tyler’s music has always been rooted in his vulnerable approach to songwriting and soft-spoken confessions. But musically, his guitar work involves intricate tapping and odd time signatures. After performing well-attended solo shows for years, 2024 was Tyler’s first year with a backing band, allowing him to lean more into the heaviness and grit of his louder influences, while still hanging on to the subtle, quieter moments in his music that have earned him supporters since the beginning. Tyler is currently working on his first full-length album and is performing songs from it live with his band.
