Whine Problem is an femme fronted and queer alternative band blending art rock and post-punk. Formed in 2024, the band quickly built a reputation for genre-defying and intense live shows.

Their debut EP, Sleem, presented six raw tracks that documents the band finding their sound. The release sparked a grassroots following, propelling Whine Problem into an Ontario-wide tour and landing them in Exclaim! Magazine’s “5 Emerging Canadian Artists You Need to Hear in March 2025”. In the feature, Exclaim! wrote: “Balancing across a tightrope with devastating poems in one hand and spiky riffs in the other… each song will surprise you as it unwinds in your ears.”

Fresh out of the studio with their first full-length album complete, Whine Problem is poised to push even further into the uncharted - chasing feeling over form, and never standing still long enough to be boxed in.
