I'm a guitarist from London, Ontario, Canada. I play live and do studio work with a variety of area artists and bands. I lead my own trio, which plays original improvised instrumental music. In 2019 I was voted into the Forest City London Music Awards Fantasy Band as London's favourite guitarist. I have been nominated three times in the Jazz Instrumental Solo/Group category, and won the award in 2022. I'm a busy hired gun available for live work and recording sessions (in-person and remote). I have two albums of original instrumental music under my own name. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Performance and Musicology from York University, a Master's Degree in Musicology from McMaster University, and a PhD in Communications and Media Studies from the Institute for Communications Studies at the University of Leeds.
