Ricky Chee is a Toronto-raised saxophonist now based in London, Ontario, where he is completing his final year of music education at Western University. With a versatile style that spans jazz, R&B, salsa, and pop, Ricky has built a reputation as a dynamic performer on stage and in the studio. As a member of the Forest City London Music Award–winning band Juice Joint, Ricky has performed at major events including Sunfest, Lighting of the Lights, and the Toronto Beaches International Jazz Festival. His artistry has been shaped by studies with respected teachers such as Jon Bouchard, Barry Usher, and James Griffin, helping him craft a sound that is both soulful and sophisticated. Whether delivering an energetic solo or blending seamlessly into a horn section, Ricky’s playing reflects a deep passion for connecting with audiences across genres and communities.
