The Heartaches Duo is a labour of love for husband and wife Martin Horak (vocals, fiddle, cello, guitar) and Amanda Lynn Stubley (vocals, banjo, guitar). Drawing on mountain roots and Canadian folk influences, their music features multi-instrumental work, close vocal harmonies, and a diverse repertoire that ranges from old fiddle tunes to original songs. With over a decade of performing experience in Canada and the United States, in venues ranging from Aeolian Hall and the Home County Music & Art Festival to house concerts and country dances, The Heartaches Duo bring a joy and spontaneity to their music that lights up every room and has audiences hollering for more.
