Tommy Solo formed the Free Ride band in 1997, playing covers in bars & various music venues around SW Ontario until 2007. After losing his only son in September of that year, Tommy found his voice & his soul. Eventually forming the Night Crew. Tommy connected with Canadian legacy drummer, Ed Pranskus of Thundermug fame in 2014. That's when the band stopped playing covers & went all in on Tommy's original material. Since 2010, Tommy has released seven independent recording projects including, What's Goin' on? (2010), Tommy Solo 7 (2012), Introducing the Night Crew (2015), Only Human (2016), the Sugarshack sessions (2019), In the 21st Century (2020 & Passengers & Messengers (2024). Recent times have found Tommy getting significant radio play in Canada & around the globe & working as a session guitarist. Now he makes music for the love of music & for those who love the music.
