York Street Thought Process is a charming folk duo made up of Jaron Camp & Rachael Frankruyter. The duo has captured the hearts of audiences across Canada with their playful approach to folk music, blending strong storytelling with improvisation. A year after the release of their debut album 'Roots', the duo ventured off to the East Coast of Canada to record new music in 2023. This resulted in their sophomore album 'Colder'. Described as "incredibly well crafted with beautiful harmonies and intricate instrumentation" (CBC, 2024), 'Colder' gained recognition from Exclaim!, CBC, Stingray, and charted on CHRW, securing the #2 spot at its highest. The duo celebrated their release with a Southern Ontario release tour in 2024 alongside Wild Bloom. In 2025, the duo released their single 'Dignity' and performed across Canada, including the highly esteemed Mariposa Folk Festival (Emerging Artists) and Winnipeg Folk Festival (Young Performer's Program).
