CLMA releases Sound Check: Climate Risk and Resilience in Canada's Live Music Sector

The Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) released ‘Sound Check: Climate Risk and Resilience in Canada's Live Music Sector,’ a national report on how climate change is affecting live music events across the country.

‘Sound Check: Climate Risk and Resilience in Canada's Live Music Sector’ draws on the CLMA's Climate Contingency survey, national disruption data, and climate projections to examine how weather-related disruption is affecting live music events, and what the sector needs to adapt.

The CLMA is releasing the first resources from its Climate Contingency Toolkit alongside the report. The free, actionable toolkit translates the study's findings into decision-making frameworks, hazard-specific standard operating procedures, and other practical tools for live music professionals planning for and responding to climate-related disruption.
