Forest City London Music Week 2023

London's biggest annual musical celebration is almost here! Forest City London Music Week (FCLMW) is back from June 11-18 with two awards galas, fourteen events and local participation of over 300 musicians throughout an amazing eight days. Plan your week out below!

June 10
Back on The Block - Free kick-off concert on Dundas Place featuring DJ Donny C, The Wobbly Pops, Sweetwood Mac, Def Bombs, After the Lounge and Swagger. 1pm – 11pm.
 
June 10
Electric Market - Free public show at the Covent Garden Market featuring AJ’s House Alex Hawken, Bassoo, Bats5y, Kosa, Coffee Rirual, Kow, Mat Lunnen, Nader A.S., Niknak and Sirenox. 4pm - 11pm.
 
June 11
The Classical Jazz & World Music Awards Gala at Aeolian Hall. This free celebration is open to the public and features performances by the Mark Swan Trio, harpist Kathleen Gahagan, Hilary Welch, Rachel Courtney, Nevin Campbell, Larry Smith & Tara Dunphy, The Crooners (Kish & Boa) and a special presentation by Le Compagnie De Danse. Doors at 6pm – show at 7pm.

June 12
TD Music Mondays featuring Anddre Mafra. Join Anddre as he takes over the Rotary Reading Garden at the Central Library from 12:15pm - 1pm.
 
June 13
FCLMA Evening of Improvisation at Dundas & Sons with the London Creative Musicians Initiative featuringAitken-Ladd-Peacock and the Astral Jams. 7pm - 11:30pm.
 
June 13
The Forest City London Music Awards continues to champion mental health with Musicians 4 Mental Health at Palasad SocialBowl. Headlining the show are DJ Anonymous, Kristen Renee, Ian BW, Incognito Baby and Stewie. Free and open to the public. Doors at 6pm – show at 7pm.
 
June 14
London Live. This annual live music blitz highlights musicians and showcases 14 live performances across 8 local venues.

Rosewood Room at the London Music Hall of Fame features finger-style artistry with three incomparable finger picking guitarists, Sam Hornby, Scott Brunelle and Dave Pearson. Free and open to the public. 6pm - 7pm.
 
June 15
FCLMA Latin Street Party on Dundas Place with performances by Daubian Oliveira, David Rayo, Antonio Alas Mariachi Band, Big Lou, Freddy Almarza, Ana de Mexico and Gianny Correa. Free and open to the public. 6pm - 11pm.

June 15
London City of Music Concert Series presented by FCLMA. Join Tell It  To Sweeney, Oleyada & Charlie Weber & The Glorious Failures in Market Lane from 7pm - 10pm.
 
June 16
Eastside Bar & Grill - Take in the Wabi Sabis with Prism Tape Philosophy. 7pm - 11:30pm.

FCLMA features Women of London Music at Palasad Socialbowl with Lux, Nicole Tan, Justine Chantale, A-Kate 47 and Leanne Mayer with Tracey Frank. Free and open to the public. 7pm - 11pm.
 
June 16
FCLMA presents Battle of the High School Bands at London Music Hall. Proudly supported by Fanshawe College Music Industry Arts and featuring some of the region's young and rising stars.  Open to the public, $5 donation at London Music Hall. This year hear, Iron Cross, The Rebates, IanBW, Stone Free, One Way Streets and Angela McIntosh. 7pm - 11pm.

June 17
PondFest 2023 -
Join us at the Hyde Park Village Green for a fun-filled day of kid’s crafts, activities games, food trucks, and a unique shopping experience. Spend the day listening to live, local music, featuring Anddre Mafra & The Reflections, Warren Hargraves, New Cats, Jazzman Band and headliner Texas King! 1pm - 11pm.
 
June 17
FCLMA Hall of Fame Super Saturday - free concert on Dundas Place featuring DJ Starchild, The Journeymen of Soul, Gabi and The Whats plus 2023 London Music Hall of Fame Inductees the McAuley Boys. Free and open starting at 1pm at Dundas Place.
 
June 17
Eastside Bar & Grill - Nostalgic Brightlights at 9p and Disgusteen covering all your favourite Teenage Head tunes. 7pm - 11:30pm.

June 18
21st Annual Forest City London Music Awards - London Music Hall - performances by Sarina Haggarty, Leanne Mayer with Shout Sister, King Cruff with The Sunshine Makers, Antonio Alas Mariachi Band and Tom Dunphy’s Classic Country Music Show.  Free and open to the public. Doors at 6pm – show at 7pm.

London Music Hall of Fame is curated by the Forest City London Music Awards (FCLMA) and is Canada's only city specific music hall of fame.
