The Global Export Music (GEM) Program for Artist Managers: Accepting Applications

The Global Export Music (GEM) Program is a new mentorship and networking program designed for Canadian artist managers representing export-ready artists, currently or soon-to-be, doing business internationally.

The five-day program runs from Monday, October 27 - Friday October 31, 2025 in London, Ontario, Canada’s UNESCO City of Music.

During GEM, managers will:

  • Develop and shape export strategies through market intelligence from local experts
  • Initiate business-to-business relationships internationally and domestically
  • Meet and network with domestic industry guests and delegates from key international markets
  • Receive mentorship through full group, small group, and 1-on-1 activities
  • Connect with other music managers from across Canada

There is no program fee for GEM. Travel, accommodations, and a per-diem will be provided to invited managers. Managers will have access to ongoing mentorship from CMI to support international development post-program.

The deadline to apply is August 8, 2025. Click here to view full eligibility requirements and submit your application.

GEM is presented in partnership by Canada’s Music Incubator and Music Managers Forum Canada, with support from Creative Export Canada, Tourism London, the City of London, and the London Music Office.
