A String and A Prayer is a Bluegrass / Folk / Gospel / Country quintet from London, Ontario. The group has been playing and singing together for more than a decade and is currently made up of Meaghan Riedl (vocals), Dan Roswell (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Norm Sonnenberg (vocals, bass), Dan Flaherty (vocals, guitar, banjo) and Don Steele (bass, vocals). In 2011, A String and A Prayer's "Train to Glory" was nominated for Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year, by the Gospel Music Association of Canada. Over the years, A String and A Prayer's goal has remained the same: to grown as performers and artists, all while having fun sharing the Good News in word and in music.
