The Grand River Pioneers are from in and around Toronto, CA. Comprised of Hunter Martin (lead vocals), Ryan Clark (lead guitar), Carter Wega (bass) and Luke Vissers (drums), they began playing together and writing original music in early 2021. The group drew influence from classic rock greats like Led Zeppelin and CCR as well as modern and indie rock groups such as Band of Skulls, Royal Blood and The Backseat Lovers. The Grand River Pioneers have an energetic sound that keeps the focus on the music. With neither an emphasis solely on melody, lyrics, or rhythm, the group prides themselves on maintaining a healthy balance while also getting downright dirty at times. With their second single, Bite a Bullet recently released, the group looks to continue the release train indefinitely.
