Following the success of their EP 'Somedays' , Lost In Japan once again comes off strong with their newest single "Lonely". From the get-go "Lonely" begins with an incredibly upbeat and punchy drum groove that is soon accompanied by some infectious indie-pop melodies that could be compared to the likes of bands such as Tokyo Police Club and Modest Mouse. The song is inspired by tour life and being away from loved ones. Though inspired by a story of band life, Lost In Japan provides listeners with a relatable depiction of love through the use of metaphorical lyrics. Without sacrificing the likeable elements of their past releases. Lonely also recently won Corus Entertainment Summer song contest which was a nationwide contest to find the top song by an indie artist. With the success of their recent EP and recently winning corus entertainments contest lost in Japan are going all in for their new record 'Colors' which will be released in 2022
