Jim Johnston and Carol Birchmore aka Simple Joy have been playing together for more than 20 years. Jim plays guitar and sings leads and harmonies, CaroI plays the harmonica, sings leads and harmonies, and provides light percussion, shaker and tambourine. They play an eclectic selection of originals and covers from artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Mamas and Papas, Bill Withers, Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Eagles, John Denver, even a little Led Zeppelin.
